■ About APERTO
REN’s original APERTO leather is a cowhide crafted by a tannery in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture. Using a combination tanning process and a generous amount of oil, the leather fibers are softened to create a refined, finely textured surface. Even when processed thin, the leather retains its strength while remaining lightweight and supple. With use, it gradually becomes softer and develops a richer sheen and character over time.
