If your leather gets stained or soiled

Once a stain or mark has set into the leather, it is difficult to remove it completely with personal care. However, prompt action may help reduce its visibility. Depending on the type of stain, if addressed immediately, it may be possible to minimize its appearance to some extent.

Stains caused by dark-colored liquids

If the leather comes into contact with oil, coffee, or other dark-colored substances, try gently blotting the stain with a well-wrung towel dampened with lukewarm water.
This may help the stain blend in and become less noticeable.

Stains from rain or water

In most cases, simply allowing the leather to dry will cause water stains to fade and return to their original appearance.
If rain marks or water stains remain visible, try gently wiping the affected area and its surroundings—or even the entire bag—with a well-wrung towel dampened with lukewarm water or clean water.
This can help the stains blend in and become less noticeable.

Stains caused by sweat

Sweat stains are often difficult to remove. Since the composition of sweat varies from person to person, it may leave noticeable ring-like marks. However, with continued use, these stains usually blend into the leather and become less visible over time.
For surface-level stains, you can try using a delicate cream designed for soft leather, or gently rubbing the area with a soft eraser, which may help reduce their appearance. If the stain has penetrated the fibers, prompt care might help make it less noticeable, though complete removal is not guaranteed.
To help prevent stains or marks from forming, we recommend applying a leather-specific waterproof spray to the entire item before use.
Please note that stains become more difficult to remove over time. If you are concerned about any marks or discoloration, we suggest consulting a professional leather cleaner.

Color fading and color transfer

When wearing this item with denim, indigo-dyed fabrics, or cotton clothing, please be aware that color transfer may occur from the garments onto the leather due to friction. Because of the nature of the material, once the leather is stained, it cannot be completely removed.
However, depending on the stain, continued use may allow it to blend naturally into the leather’s texture, adding to its character over time. If you wish to restore the color or have the item professionally cleaned, we recommend consulting a leather specialist.
Additionally, when the bag becomes wet from rain or sweat, or when exposed to friction, the color of the leather itself may transfer to your clothing. We advise caution when wearing light-colored garments.
