Part of REN’s 2025 Fall/Winter collection, the “Sleeve Tote” is a uniquely shaped handbag designed around a structured, oval-shaped base.
The lower half of the bag serves as the storage compartment, while the entire upper portion—seamlessly extending from the body—forms the handle. This tubular upper section opens wide like a tunnel, offering generous room to slip your arm through. You can also gather it softly in your hand, or fold it over and carry it like a clutch. Depending on how you carry it, the bag takes on a variety of looks.
Because the upper section opens wide, the interior is also lined with leather to maintain a clean and refined appearance.
While the main compartment isn't especially large—just enough to hold essentials like a wallet, phone, and makeup pouch—the upper handle section also offers extra space. Thanks to this unique structure, you can even carry taller items like a bottle of wine.
This is a bag that goes beyond convenience or functionality—it’s designed to be a seamless part of your outfit.
APERTO
REN’s original leather, “APERTO”, is a mixed-tanned cowhide crafted by skilled tanners in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture. Infused with ample oil, the leather fibers are softened to achieve a refined, delicate grain. Despite its lightweight and supple texture, it retains exceptional strength even when processed into thin layers. Over time, the leather develops a richer softness, sheen, and character, offering an evolving charm with use.
This series marks REN’s first adoption of a backing process. The interior lining features “Bonseyn,” a high-grade artificial suede known for its superior elasticity. Its sophisticated texture and lightweight nature complement Aperto’s elegance, resulting in a more refined and polished series.
“APERTO” seamlessly blends the beauty of leather with functionality, offering a completely new experience that sets it apart from previous REN collections.
