Compact Yet Uncompromising on Storage Capacity
The smallest wallet in REN's collection, the "Mini Wallet," fits in the palm of your hand with its compact tri-fold design, yet it boasts impressive storage capacity. Despite its small size, this mini wallet does not compromise on storage.
On the outside of the wallet, there is a coin pocket with a snap closure. The Mini Wallet's storage features are simple yet efficient: a coin pocket, a bill compartment, and three card slots behind it. As you use the wallet, the leather softens, which increases the coin pocket's capacity. This wallet offers the joy of experiencing both the changing texture of the leather and the evolving storage capacity over time.
The bill compartment can hold approximately 10 bills. Each of the three card slots can accommodate cards, as shown. Even a 10,000 yen bill fits without folding. Initially, the leather may feel stiff and the fit tight, but over time, the leather will stretch, allowing for more cards to be stored. Each pocket can eventually hold multiple cards stacked together.
This mini size is recommended for those who want to carry a reasonable amount of cash. Of course, it's also perfect for a slim use case where you only carry a few cards and some coins.
BUBBLE CALF
This shrink-wrapped calf is tanned by the prestigious French tannery Dupuis.
Only the highest quality raw hides are carefully selected from European calves, mainly from France, and finished by chrome-tanning. The high quality surface has good coloring, moderate elasticity, and a suppleness that makes the leather feel as if it is absorbent in your hand. It is resistant to water and dirt, and even after use, the grain does not collapse and continues to change into a beautiful expression. One of the reasons why we chose this luxury leather, which is well-known in the leather industry and especially supported by maisons, is that it has a natural grain but a rubber-like texture. I was intuitively attracted to this hybrid look.
I am also attracted by the fact that the expression changes depending on the part to be cut, and I pay a lot of attention to the cutting process.
