The Sleek Path is a shoulder bag with a quietly sculptural silhouette, shaped by its rigid oval base. Crafted from Aperto cowhide, it carries a natural sheen that feels refined without being formal. The opening closes with a carefully designed leather-covered button, helping keep the contents discreetly out of sight. A structured base panel keeps your belongings stable and allows the bag to stand upright on its own.

The shoulder strap can be adjusted simply by tying a knot to your preferred length. This straightforward approach—and a design that never dictates how it should be used—is part of what makes the bag so appealing.

APERTO

REN’s original leather, “APERTO”, is a mixed-tanned cowhide crafted by skilled tanners in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture. Infused with ample oil, the leather fibers are softened to achieve a refined, delicate grain. Despite its lightweight and supple texture, it retains exceptional strength even when processed into thin layers. Over time, the leather develops a richer softness, sheen, and character, offering an evolving charm with use.
This series marks REN’s first adoption of a backing process. The interior lining features “Bonseyn,” a high-grade artificial suede known for its superior elasticity. Its sophisticated texture and lightweight nature complement Aperto’s elegance, resulting in a more refined and polished series.
