Collection: Goatskin / Goat Mesh

This leather mesh is made from goat leather that has been vegetable-tanned and handwoven using a traditional cobblestone-style weave.
Over time, the leather softens, develops a rich sheen, and gradually deepens in color—becoming more beautiful with age.
The mesh is crafted from long leather strips, each formed by carefully joining smaller cut pieces.
Because of this process, it takes roughly five times more leather to create the same surface area compared to a typical leather product.
Each piece is woven with precision and care at our atelier in India, home to skilled artisans known for their craftsmanship.
Time and dedication are poured into every detail, resulting in a leather weave that is not only strong, but also light and airy in appearance.
To preserve the supple texture of the woven surface, we intentionally use a flexible adhesive.
With use and age, you may occasionally notice some unraveling at the seams of the leather strips—an honest expression of the material's handmade nature.
