Crafted from REN’s signature sheep mesh leather, which is supple and relaxed from the very start and develops a refined luster over time. The tight, intricate weave and the luxuriously soft, pliable texture of the leather come together in a square-shaped design that lets you fully enjoy the unique character of this material.
Despite its compact size, it holds all your daily essentials—like a smartphone, wallet, and cosmetics. The structured square shape maintains its form even when fully packed. Interior pockets on both sides help keep your belongings organized.
The braided shoulder strap is thick enough to offer a sense of stability, while its bold look adds a stylish accent to your outfit. You can freely adjust the length by tying the ends. Wearing it short like a sling bag helps highlight the wide, rectangular shape in a distinctive way.
SHEEP MESH
Sheepskin originally tanned for gloves is knitted into a single piece of leather mesh using the Ajiro knitting technique. This method is similar to the knit and sewn method used for clothing, where the leather is knitted into a single piece and then cut and sewn. To take advantage of the supple texture of the raw hides, more oil is added than usual. The pigment used to adjust the color is also mixed with oil and sprayed very thinly to make it blend in, in pursuit of a touch that feels as if it is absorbed by the hand. This material was completed with the cooperation of an atelier in India where craftsmen specializing in the formation of leather mesh gather.

If worn with denim, indigo-dyed or cotton clothing, the color of the clothing may transfer to the leather due to friction. Also, if the bag gets wet due to rain, sweat, or friction, the color of the leather may transfer to your clothing. Please be careful when matching the bag with bright clothing.
