Alabaster

A full vegetable-tanned leather, drum-tanned by a tannery in Tatsuno, Hyogo. Made using 100% natural plant-based tannins, primarily derived from mimosa, and produced through environmentally responsible methods, this material is certified as Japan Eco Leather.
After preparing the leather base, it is dyed using a through-dyeing process that allows the color to penetrate to the core, then carefully infused with oil. With use, the leather gradually develops a rich luster and a deeper, more expressive character.
Minor scratches can be easily blended with oil care, allowing the leather’s character to develop over time through daily use. One of its unique appeals is the rich aging that is characteristic of full vegetable-tanned leather.
